Currently working as Senior Consultant in GI, HPB & GI Cancer Surgery Department, SIDS Hospital & Research center.

Dr. Bhatt has started his carrier in the field of Gastro-Intestinal & Hepato Pancreatic Biliary Surgery since September 2010 at Surat. After finishing his training in India’s one of the best medical college (Maulana Azad Medical College & G B Pant Hospital) he started practice in the field of GI & HPB Surgery and became the pioneer of doing the same in Surat, entire south Gujarat. Initially he worked as a consultant with Shri R B SHAH Mahavir Super Speciality Hospital. He took initiative and a new concept of having single super speciality hospital having all facilities in one roof for all GI related issues. The journey started in 2013 and materialilzed with “SIDS Hospital & Research Center” in January, 2015. A single superspeciality hospital in Surat with more than 12 consultants of same speciality working together in one roof for the interest and betterment of community and providing best of care, along with the other all allied speciality.

Dr. Bhatt is having records in the field of GI & Laparoscopic surgery endorsed by “Limca Book of records", "India book of records” and “Asia book of records” for doing laparoscopic cholecystectomy and for removal of longest foreign body from stomach of a girl.

Dr. Bhatt has a keen interest in surgeries related to Liver, Pancreas, Advanced laparoscopy and All GI Cancers. He has mastery in dealing with complications following any abdominal surgeries, especially HPB Surgeries and the same has resulted in publishing a book on the topic – “Complications in GI & HPB Surgery”.

Dr. Bhatt is a founder member and pioneer of “South Gujarat Surgeon’s Society” and Zonal representative of south Gujarat in Gujarat state surgeon’s chapter under ASI.

Under the leadership of Dr Bhatt, the center is awarded as the “Best Single Superspeciality Hospital” in the region by ‘ABP News Health Care leadership awards- 2019’. The hospital is currently the best recognized center of all gastro related problems in Gujarat.
